Het is Vlindermaand bij Wiedewei! 🦋 Deze maand hebben alle vestigingen eitjes van vlinders, rupsen en cocons ontvangen. Samen met de kinderen richten we vlinderbakken in en ontdekken we hoelang het duurt voordat de eitjes uitkomen, wat en hoeveel rupsen eten om te groeien en hoe een vlinder uit zijn cocon klimt! Door deze transformatie te volgen, stimuleren we de nieuwsgierigheid naar de natuur, het verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en respect voor deze diertjes, van ei tot vlinder! 🥚🐛🦋 #vanrupstotvlinder #groenekinderopvang #vlinder #rups #transformatie #natuur

At Wiedewei, experiencing adventures and exploring for yourself is central. In our green environment, both indoors and outdoors, a child is amazed by nature. Natural materials stimulate creativity, imagination and cooperation with other children. By familiarizing a child with nature from an early age, he or she learns to make judgments and gain life experiences; such as a painful bruise or abrasion on the knee. 🩹 We want children at Wiedewei to have these experiences in a safe and familiar environment. We protect a child by supervising, using auxiliary equipment (for example a stair gate) or by adapting the environment. By encouraging a child to develop motor, social and cognitive skills, he or she gradually learns to make better judgments. 💪🏼

It's Vegetable Garden Month at Wiedewei! 🍓🌱🥕 All Wiedewei branches have a vegetable garden. We will work on this together with your child: we sow, we till the soil and of course we reap what we have sown! We not only sow vegetables, but also flowers. These not only look beautiful, but are also useful because they attract insects that help the plants grow 🐝 The vegetable garden and sowing are great opportunities to feel, taste, smell, hear and see things. Through these experiences your child learns about the world around him and his brain and senses are stimulated.
