At Wiedewei we don't just celebrate Sweater Day. No, we make it a Sweater WEEK! This entire week is all about warmth, without turning up the heating. A week in which we don't just put on a thick sweater, but also playfully learn about getting warmer and saving energy. And that turns out to be very cozy and snug!
Stay warm without heating
We visit Wiedewei Bergen op Zoom, where the toddlers are completely immersed in the theme. The heating was off, but no one was cold. The toddlers made their own warm sweater by decorating a drawing with soft wool. Outside they enthusiastically participated in the 'keep-warm-dance' to stay nice and warm. And inside they snuggled up under warm blankets while enjoying a nice reading moment. There was also music: the toddlers sang a cheerful song about warm sweaters.
Join in!
With these playful and conscious activities we make the children aware that you can stay nice and warm without a high heating. Will you join us? Put on a nice thick sweater and save energy together with us! 💚
