Parents telling
At our after-school care, it is always nice to be together. We water the plants and play games with each other. We discover the nature around us and go outside, not alone. We take care of plants, big and small, because we love greenery and nature! We laugh, play, have fun, and join in the fun together. It is nice at our after-school care, where we can be completely ourselves! 🍀🌷🍂🪻

This week we did various activities again. For example, we made a collage about living, dead, and lifeless. The children were allowed to pick materials and other items that corresponded to the correct word. An educational assignment. We also did all kinds of crafts again. This week was also Safety Week. Together, we looked at what is in the Emergency Response Kit and conducted an evacuation drill! 🔥 #wiedewei #groeneopvang #weekvandeveiligheid #bso

National Mud Week! The children painted with mud, made a mud river, walked barefoot through the muddy barefoot path, and made mud soup. Mud play contributes positively to children's resistance. By coming into contact with all kinds of microorganisms, children build a strong immune system. In addition to the health benefits, playing with mud is also good for children's development. By playing with different textures, children's senses are stimulated. They feel different types of mud and notice what happens to the texture when more or less water is added. Building mud towers is good for fine motor skills. At the same time, the children immerse themselves in their own fantasy world, which is good for creativity and imagination. #wiedewei #groeneopvang #nationale #modderweek
