National Mud Week! The children painted with mud, made a mud river, walked barefoot through the muddy barefoot path, and made mud soup. Mud play contributes positively to children's resistance. By coming into contact with all kinds of microorganisms, children build a strong immune system. In addition to the health benefits, playing with mud is also good for children's development. By playing with different textures, children's senses are stimulated. They feel different types of mud and notice what happens to the texture when more or less water is added. Building mud towers is good for fine motor skills.
